Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of the Lister app, which is provided by the seller shown on its App Store page ("we", "us"). By using Lister, you agree to them. Your use of the app is also subject to Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement (Apple EULA). You must be at least 13 to use Lister, and if you're under 18 you need a parent or guardian's permission, including for purchases.

Using Lister

Lister writes resale listings from photos of items you own and want to sell. Listings are written by AI and can be wrong, including the brand, size, model, condition, authenticity, category and price. Lister doesn't verify or authenticate items. The titles, descriptions, categories and price ranges it writes are suggestions: you're responsible for reviewing and correcting everything before you post, and for what you post. Price ranges are estimates, not promises of what an item will sell for.

Your account

You can use Lister without signing in. Until you save your account (in the app: Account › Save your account), your listings are tied to an unsaved account on that phone and can't be moved to another one. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure.

Subscriptions and free trial

New users get one free listing and three free price checks. Lister Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription. Where the App Store shows a free trial on the plan you choose (the length is shown before you confirm), it is for eligible new subscribers, and after it the subscription is charged unless it's cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled and are billed through the App Store. You can manage or cancel them in iPhone Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Deleting the app or your account doesn't cancel a subscription. Refund requests are handled through the App Store at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Fair use

Lister Pro has no listing limit for personal resale use (fair use applies): the fair-use limit is 60 generations per hour, 150 per day and 2,500 in any 30 days. Automated or scripted use is not permitted.

Acceptable use

Don't use Lister to create misleading listings, to list items you don't have the right to sell, or to break any marketplace's rules. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service.

Marketplaces

Lister helps you prepare listings for eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Depop, Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp, Craigslist, Nextdoor, Vinted, Grailed and Etsy, and gift posts for Buy Nothing groups. If you connect eBay, you authorize Lister to create listings on your eBay account using the details you review before publishing, and to end them when you ask. You're responsible for every listing posted from your account, including its accuracy, its compliance with each marketplace's rules and any marketplace fees. Your use of each marketplace is governed by its own terms.

eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Depop, Facebook, OfferUp, Craigslist, Nextdoor, Vinted, Grailed, Etsy and Buy Nothing are trademarks of their respective owners. Lister is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

AI-written listings and prices

Listings, prices, times to sell, demand levels, marketplace suggestions and the Worth it? verdict (Buy / Maybe / Pass) are written by AI from your photos. They are estimates, not appraisals, purchase advice or guarantees, and they can be wrong. Whether to buy an item, and what to pay for it, is your decision. Lister does not authenticate items. Check every detail (brand, size, condition, flaws, measurements and price) before you post, and don't describe an item as authentic unless you can back that up yourself.

No warranty

Lister is provided as-is. We don't guarantee that items will sell, that price estimates are accurate or that the service will always be available. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost sales or indirect losses arising from your use of Lister.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about Lister is limited to the amount you paid for Lister in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if that is more. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Your listings

You're responsible for the items you sell and the listings you post. To the extent the law allows, you agree to cover our reasonable costs if a claim is made against us because of an item you listed or sold, or a listing you posted, that broke the law or someone else's rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Lister is offered only in the United States.

Changes

If we change these terms, we'll update the date above. Continuing to use Lister after a change means you accept the updated terms.
